Felicia’s professional career started at 18 years old when she joined Ballet Austin 2. Ms. McBride then became a member of Dominic Walsh Dance Theater where she performed works by Jiri Kylian and Matts Ek as well as Mauro Bigonzetti and Dominic Walsh. While dancing with Dominic Walsh Dance theater she performed the lead role of ‘Juliet’ in Walsh’s production of “Romeo and Juliet.” She also toured to Italy where she performed in Naples and on the private island of Li Galli. Ms. McBride later joined Hubbard Street 2 where she was a part of many original creations and toured throughout the United States as well as Germany. Ms. McBride has also guested with Les Grands Ballet Canadiens in their production of “The Nutcracker” in 2009, 2013 and 2014. Felicia began her freelance career in Chicago dancing with Kristina Isabelle Dance Company. In 2014 she performed with KIDC in the annual Deventer Op Stelten Festival held in Deventer, Netherlands. She then relocated to Austin, TX where she danced with ARCOS Dance and other various choreographers in the city. While living in Austin, Ms. McBride spent some time in Kansas City, Missouri as a guest artist with Owen/Cox Dance Group. In 2016, Felicia moved to San Antonio, TX where she continues to freelance and has begun choreographing.
